| Cart FAQ
- Top off your cart as soon as you start to notice the vapour is diminishing. The atty likes to be wet.
- Top up until you see the juice pooling at the top of the batting. Don't top off right to the top of the cart its-self.
- Ensure the batting is just below the top of the cart. If it is too far down, the atty won't be able to soak up any of the juice (will also reduce vapour production).

| Atty FAQ
- Never let your atty get too hot. When you feel it is very hot, give it a minute or two to cool down again. You will wear out the atty very quickly with high heat.
- It is good to let your atty drain every few days. Some people let it drain nightly when they go to sleep.
To drain the atty, remove it from the PV and place it cart side down on a piece of tissue paper. This will help to reduce clogging of the juice in the vapour and keep your atty working as it should.
- Clean your atty once a week. There are various methods you can clean. Try one of the following...
a:) Hold the atty under warm (not hot) water for a minute or two. Blow it out. Repeat under warm water. Blow out. Let dry.
b:) Soak in 90% alcohol from your local pharmacy. Overnight is perfectly fine. Rinse under warm water, then let dry.
c:) Coke has even been used by some and said to work very well. Do same as in b:) above.
d:) Simply blow the atty out from the battery side. Give it all you've got. Make sure you have some tissue paper handy to catch all the old juice that comes out.

| Dripping FAQ
- Dripping is bypassing the cart and dripping juice directly onto the atty. You get better flavour and throat hit this way (not necessary on the M201 due to its already awesome power).
- Never over drip. You can flood the atty if you drip too many drops onto the atty. Start with 2 and depending on the size of your PV, try 3, then 4 until you reach a point that your atty cannot handle it. Most people drip about 3 drops.
- As mentioned above, be careful dripping when using an auto battery.

| Kit FAQ
- When choosing a kit, always try get one with at least two batteries, an atty and a charger. Any less than this and you will end up buying spares straight away. One battery is simply not enough to vape full time. Ideally, you should have 3 but that depends on how much you vape.
- Always get a second atty when purchasing your first kit. You don't want to get caught with an atty dying while you are reducing smoking. This will get you back to smoking while you organise a new atty.
- Try to not get generics. Generics are clones of the good kits and they are from manufacturers trying to capitalise on the good name of the original kit. It is however hard to determine what is original and what is generic when you are new to vaping. Feel free to use the Contact Us form to check. Vaping101 does not sell generics, but you are welcome to ask our advice if purchasing from another dealer. We are not biased in this regard and want you to have a good first time experience.
A lot of generic kits simply don't work as well as the original (not always - but mostly). If your first kit is not up to scratch if could put you off vaping straight away and you won't get the opportunity to discover how wonderful vaping really is and how it can benefit you. So please... Ask us if you are unsure.

| Battery FAQ
- ALWAYS give your battery a good long first charge. Length of time depends on the size of the battery. This can range from 4 hours for the super mini to 12 hours for the pen style (M201). Not a bad practice to repeat this for the next two chargers.
- After the initial charge, don't go by the green light on the charger - it lies :) Rather use it as a reference.
For mini, charge at least 2 hours regardless of the green light, and for pen style 3 hours.
- Be careful when dripping with auto batteries. The juice can run through the atty and into the little hole on the top of the battery. The switch that turns the atty on/off is in the battery and if juice gets into the hole, it clogs up the switch and your battery will stop working - permanently!
- Take note of the LED on your battery. When it flashed multiple times (normally 5 or 6) it is ready for a charge. Do not push the battery too far. If it goes below its minimum voltage, you will destroy the battery. When the LED flashes, charge it!
If it flashes straight away - or very soon - after a charge, it indicates a faulty battery.
- The difference between an auto and manual battery.
The manual battery has a switch on the battery. You have to press the button for a second or so to heat the atty before vaping. This helps to ensure a constant throat hit and vapour production as it does not relay on your drag to heat the atty. There is no hole in the top of the manual battery so ideal battery if you like to drip.
The auto battery has no switch on the battery. Instead it is built into the battery its-self. Some use vibration, some use sound, and most depend on air flow from you dragging to activate the switch. Most people prefer auto batteries as it is more "normal" than having to press a switch to vape. This is personal preference though.

| Juice FAQ
- Always store your juice in a cool place (even the fridge). You reduce its lifespan if kept in hot areas.
- Keep away from children. PV juice is not good in its raw form.
- PV juice has a life span of between 12 and 18 months. Throw away if kept for a long period and the liquid starts to change colour.
- When starting to vape, it is a generally good idea to start on high (24mg) level juice. It will help you move from smoking to vaping a lot easier than lower level juice. Once you are used to it, start to migrate downwards to medium, then low, then no level nicotine juice.
- There is no real way to determine what juice you will prefer. What some hate, others love. It is all about preference. Try to find a dealer that will allow you to sample a few juices to save you having to buy multiple bottles just to find the flavour that works for you.
The flavours of juice are only indications of the flavour. Hardly any flavours are the actual flavours except for the fruity types (Red Bull, Menthol, Cola, etc...). The fruity ones do quite a good job of imitation that flavour they advertise.
